F793 Commandant Blaison

Posted in England, London by folkestonejack on June 17, 2011

My walk from work to the railway station today gave me the unusual sight of the French patrol ship “Commandant Blaison” being tugged underneath Tower Bridge and then manoeuvred into position alongside HMS Belfast. The weather was pretty rubbish but I took a few shots all the same…

Update: F793 Commandant Blaison passed back through Tower Bridge on Tuesday 21st June 2011 just after 5pm, conveniently allowing me the opportunity to try a few more shots with the Shard and City Hall as a backdrop.
