HMS Middleton

Posted in England, London by folkestonejack on November 8, 2012

The Royal Navy minehunter HMS Middleton (M34) arrived in London this morning, ahead of Remembrance Sunday. The minehunter made her way through an illuminated Tower Bridge just before sunrise, at 6.45am, with the lights of the city still burning in the background. After passing through Tower Bridge the minehunter was angled towards the Tower of London and then turned with the assistance of the tug Christine before manoeuvering to a berth alongside HMS Belfast.
